History
From a food crisis to a national movement
Alimenta la Solidaridad is a Venezuelan foundation established in 2016 to address the food crisis affecting the most vulnerable sectors of the Caracas Metropolitan Area. We began by setting up community kitchens and forging close ties with our beneficiaries through our model of shared responsibility.
Today, our presence has expanded to the rest of the country through community-based programs.
To date, we have served more than 22 million meals and reached more than 43,000 beneficiaries through our community kitchen project and training programs in leadership, protection, education, and livelihoods.
The Organization
We want to be a leading organization in Venezuela because of our social impact model focused on reducing inequality.
How do we do it?
We design and implement community programs focused on humanitarian aid, development, and leadership, aimed at improving the living conditions of Venezuela’s most vulnerable people.
Why do we do this?
We want to break the generational cycle of inequality so that every Venezuelan can reach their full potential.

Facing the Emergency
Together we can activate our humanitarian network!
In light of the emergency caused by the earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, we at Alimenta la Solidaridad express our deepest solidarity with all the affected families. It is with great sadness that we announce that members of our network in Vargas State are missing. For them, and for all those affected, we will work tirelessly to mobilize support.
We are mobilizing our humanitarian network to gather reliable information, coordinate with local partners, and channel support to communities facing urgent needs.
We know that trust is essential during an emergency. That’s why we’ll be sharing transparent updates on what we’re verifying, the support we’ve received, the communities we’re prioritizing, and the deliveries we’ve made.
